Mina miniscraps har jag sytt fast på kvittoremsor! En idé som jag först såg hos EvaJ. Passar därför på att länka till hennes blogg, EvaJ, måndag, Visa och Berätta! Tillbaka till remsorna…..Bestämde mig för att sy en löpare.
My miniscraps are sewn together on reciept stripes. I got the idea from EvaJ. I´ll now take the time to link to her blog, EvaJ, Monday, Show and Tell! Now back to the stripes….. Decided to sew a table runner.
Det neutrala tyget räckte inte riktigt till, så jag lade till ett ljusare tyg. När jag sydde fast den sjätte remsan såg hela löparen ut som en lättare böjd banan 🙂 Panik!!!!!
I didn´t have enough of the neutral fabric, so I added a slightly brighter fabric. When the sixth stripe was in place, the table runner looked like a slightly bent banana 🙂 Panic!!!!
Det fick bli en nödlösning. Jag skar löparen i tre delar, vände en av bitarna och sydde ihop igen. Nu blev det riktigt bra. Jag tycker inte det gör så mycket att jag har använt ett extra tyg, eller……?!
I had to solve the problem. I cut the runner into three parts, turned one piece half way around and sew them together again. I think it turned out very well. I don´t think the extra fabric is messing it up, or……….?!
It’s lovely, and we’d never have known about the problem if you hadn’t told us!

I love this one too! Apparently, if you sew each strip in the opposite direction to the last one, you won’t get the bendy problem. It looks lovely to me 🙂

Flott scrap løper du har sydd! Jeg er så imponert over alle som klare å få noe ut av slike små tøybiter. Hos meg blir tøybitene liggende, og der forblir de i sine esker. 🙂

Ibland känns det, som om jag bara syr med scraps. Blir lite trött på att alltid sy med samma gamla tyger hela tiden!
