2 Inch Block

Brukar ni ta till vara på era scraps och skära ner dem till mindre rutor? T ex 2 inch rutor? Jag gör det och sen vet jag inte vad jag ska göra med dem. Kan ju inte bara sy frimärksquiltar av alltihop 🙂

Do you save your scraps and cut them down to smaller blocks? For example 2″ blocks? I do this and then I don´t know what to do with them. You just can´t sew postage stamps quilts of them all 🙂

På bloggen Wedding Dress Blue (scrolla ner på sidan) pågår just nu en quilt-along. Quilten vi syr heter Calico Rose och den består av…….just det……..2″ rutor!!!!! Vi har inte kommit så långt än, bara sytt ihop en del av rutorna till större block, 4 x 4. Du kan själv bestämma hur stort täcke du vill sy och det går även att använda mindre eller större rutor 🙂

At the blog Wedding Dress Blue  (scroll down) you can follow a quilt – along. The quilt we are sewing is called Calico Rose and we are using……….guess what……2″ blocks!!!!!! We haven´t got so far yet, just pieced some of the squares into bigger blocks, 4 x 4. It´s up to you to decide how big a quilt you want to do and ,of course, you can use smaller or bigger squares if you want 🙂
