Välklädd man / Well-dressed Man

Ja, det var veckans utmaning från Project Quilting 8:5! Ganska så svårt. Tänkte först på slipsar, men upptäckte att det var fler som gjorde det, så jag beslöt att sy något annat! Min fråga blev: Är det kläderna som gör mannen eller tvärtom? Hittade ett tyg med två paneler. Har quiltat, sytt dekorsömmar och broderat. Damerna ser likadana ut, men herrarna är lite olika.

Yes, that was the challenge from Project Quilting 8:5! A rather hard challenge. First I thought of doing something with ties, but I notice there were quite e few of us that were doing that, so I switched to another fabric. This was my question: Is it the clothes that makes the man or the opposite? I found a fabric with two panels. I have been quilting, sewing decorative stitches and stitch embroidery seams. The ladies look alike, but the men doesn´t.

Kanske är det lite svårt att se, men mannen högst upp har mer broderier och guldtrådar lite här och där. Lite tjusigare än den andre!

Maybe it´s hard to spot on the photo, but the man on top have more embroideries and golden threads both here and there. He´s a bit more handsome than the other man!

Den nedre herrn har lappat och lagat sin kostym ett antal gånger och har fortfarande några hål kvar att fixa. Dessutom lyser guldtrådarna med sin frånvaro!

The guy below have been mending his suit a couple of times and he still has some hole to take care of. Besides that the golden thread is nowhere to be found!

Ja, vem vinner damen? Är det han med allt guldet eller är det den andre? Vem är det egentligen bäst att umgås med? Fundera på det! 🙂
