Scrap Happy Day, April 15

GLAD PÅSK!!!! Idag är det ju påskafton och dessutom är det Scrap Happy Day!!!!! Kate (från Australien) och jag firar denna dag, den 15:e varje månad! Jag tror att alla som syr lapptäcken, väskor,  dukar, nessar, ja, t o m kläder får tygbitar över. Små eller stora, spelar ingen roll, jag vill inte kasta dem. Då passar det ju bra med en sida, fylld med länkar och tips på vad man kan göra av dessa tygbitar! HAPPY EASTER!!! This weekend we are celebrating Easter and at the same time, today it is Scrap Happy Day!!!!!! Kate (from Australia) and I celebrate this day the 15th every month! I think everyone that are making quilts, bags, table cloths, pouches, yes, even clothes have a lot of leftover fabrics. Big or small pieces, doesn´t matter, I don´t want to throw them away. Then it´s great to have a blog, filled with ideas and links so you can find something to do with your scraps! If you scroll down on this page, you´ll find a list with links to those who sew using scraps. Often or just now and then, doesn´t matter, as long as it is all about scraps! If you want your name on the list, just let me know in the comments.

Jag har sytt  klart mitt ”Häxkittel” (Scrap vortex) täcke nr 3. Nu ska det bara ”mackas” och quiltas. Täcket är inte så stort, 0,65m x 0,96m (25″ x 38″), men alltid duger det till något 🙂

I have finished my quilt Scrap Vortex nr 3. Now I just have to ”sandwich”  and quilt it. The quilt isn´t that big, 25″ x 38″ (0,65m x 0,96m), but I can always find some way to use it 🙂

Varje år är jag med på utmaningen från bloggen Soscrappy. RSC 2017 (Rainbow Scrap Challenge). Vi får en ny färg varje månad, som vi ska använda. Jag syr ihop mina 1.5″ rutor som blev över när jag hade sytt klart mitt ”Frimärkstäcke”. Tror förresten att jag glömde redovisa mars månad, som var röd! I april skulle vi använda scraps med flera färger. De där tygbitarna som är svåra att färgbestämma och som vi alla säkert har 🙂

Every year I follow the challenge from the blog Soscrappy. RSC 2017 (Rainbow Scrap Challenge).. There´s a new color to use every month. I´m sewing together my 1.5″ squares that was leftovers when I finished my ”Postage Stamps” quilt. I think I forgot to show you what I sew in March, which btw was red! In April we are supposed to use multicolored scraps. Those fabric pieces where you can´t decide what color it is and which I´m sure many of us have plenty of 🙂
