Wow, we are celebrating three years with scrap. Today , three years ago, Kate and I started SCRAP HAPPY DAY for all of us who are using scraps when sewing and who wants to show the rest of the world the great things we are doing. Despite it´s just scraps. You know, all the small pieces of fabrics we usually throw away 🙂
Today I have two tops to show you! The first one is ”Disappearing 9 Patches”. I had some difficulty to decide if I´d have sashing or not. Finally I decided to leave the sashing out. Now this top is in the quilting queue!
Carole från bloggen ”From My Carolina Home” har gjort mönstret.
The second top comes from the quilt-along ”Scrap Dance”. It´s Carole from the blog ”From My Carolina Home” that made the pattern. Sewing the blocks was easy, but sewing them together was a bit harder. I had to mark each block to get it right.

The list above contains name and links to people who are mostly working with scraps and not only fabric scraps. We have three new members this time! Do you also want your name on the list? Just say so in the comment or contact Kate!
They’re both gorgeous, but I really like the dancing stars in the bottom one! Happy Scrappyversary, dear Gun, it’s been a fun three years, and I look forward to the next three!

Scrap Dance turned out great, and so did your second top. Two quilt tops finished, a perfect way to celebrate your scrappyversary!

Thank you! I still don´t know if I´d have a border around the Scrap Dance top.

Those are fabulous tops! I like the setting on the D9P, as I haven’t seen one done that way before. Both of them are so bright and cheerful. Congratulations on two finishes!

Thank you! I have added strings and triangles to the D9P block. Maybe that´s why they look a bit different!

Happy anniversary – looking forward to even more inspiration in the future xxx
