Ja, här har det verkligen varit varmt. Jag har bara inte orkat sitta vid datorn och skriva. Fast i syrummet har det gått bra att vara 🙂 Jag har sytt månadens ruta ( från Academic Quilter) i månadens färg (från Soscrappy) röd.
It´s been really hot in July (over 30 degrees Celsius, for several days). Too hot to sit and write some posts for the blog. I have been spending some time in my sewing room, though. A bit cooler there 🙂 I have done this months´ block (from Academic Quilter) in this month´s color, red (from Soscrappy).
Jag har också sytt några nya rutor till ”Veronelli” täcket. Gillar verkligen dessa rutor, men jag har fortfarande inte bestämt hur det färdiga täcket ska se ut!
I have also made some new blocks for the ”Veronelli” quilt. I do really like these blocks, but I haven´t yet decided how the finished quilt will look like!
Tog en dag ledigt och åkte till Örskär, en liten ö i norra Roslagen. Helt underbart!
Took a day off and took a trip to Örskär, a tiny island in the north of Roslagen. That´s the archipelago outside Uppland, where I live. It was a wonderful trip!

it looks beautiful by the sea x we have been having record breaking temperatures here in the UK.. it was fun for a few days .. but now!!!.. not so much x Its fine when there is air conditioning .. but we … like you ..don’t usually need it!!.. stay cool and safe x

Sitting with your feet in the sea, what a delightful way to cool off! The newest red and white block is very cheerful, and I think your stripes blocks from the Splendid Sample will make an amazing quilt! Stay cool in this hot weather!
