Time to show you my latest scrap project (Those leftover fabrics you don´t want to throw away). I have fallen for the Japanese ricebags! I think they are absolutely gorgeous! I just had to sew me one for myself 🙂 The scraps I used are a little bit thicker than other fabrics and then I stitch with linnen thread, that I found in one of my boxes. The string I used was made from scrappy 1 inch strings.
We are a big group of quilters that uses scraps when sewing and not just sewing! Check out the links below and you´ll see what I mean! My friend Kate from Australia and I thought we needed a special day to post about our scrap project and that´s why we created SCRAP HAPPY DAY on the 15th every month. Do you want to join us? Just say so in the comment or contact Kate! There is no obligation and you don´t have to post about scraps every month, just now and then 🙂
