Scrap Happy Day, December!!

Den 15:e december, solen skiner, men det är kallt ute. Idag firar vi (Kate och jag) Scrap Happy day. Det gör vi alltid den 15:e var månad och du får gärna vara med. It´s the 15th of December, the sun is shining, but it´s cold outside. Today Kate and I are celebrating Scrap Happy Day. We do that every 15th of the month and you are welcome to join us. Jag fortsätter sy med mina remsor. Började förra månaden. Jag syr dem som ”Leaders and Enders”, så det går inte så fort fram, men jag har sytt några till i alla fall.

I continue sewing with my strings. Started last month. I sew them as ”Leaders and Enders”, so is not a fast sewing, but I have managed to finish some anyway.

Jag syr två olika varianter. Den ena har små, små rutor i mitten och remsor runt om (se översta fotot). På den andra varianten är rutorna större och remsorna går inte runt om (nästa foto).

 I sew two different versions. One has tiny, tiny blocks in the middle and the strings goes all around (showing on the first photo). On the other version, the pieces in the middle are bigger and the strings doesn´t go all around (next photo).

Jag har dessutom hittat en tredje variant, som jag började sy på för några år sedan 🙂 En slags scrappy log cabin, så där har jag också använt remsor. Tycker nu att alla dessa block är väldigt lika varandra, så jag tror att nästa scrappy projekt får bli något helt annat!

I have also found a third version, that I started sewing a few years ago 🙂 Some sort of scrappy log cabin and  of course I have used strings when sewing. Looking at the three blocks, I must say they look very much alike. Maybe I´d better find something completely different for my next scrappy project!
