Låter kanske som en konstig blandning, men ändå…….. 🙂 En av mina vänner på Facebook är med i en grupp, där man syr dekorsömmar på symaskinen. God idé tyckte jag, ett bra tillfälle att lära sig använda sin symaskin! Idén kommer från Sylvia Kaptein, Bernina blog, och heter Crazy Colors Mystery Quilt. Den 15:e varje månad kommer ett nytt block och jag har nu sytt klart det första!

I thought it was a good idea, a great way to learn more about your machine! The idea and the pattern comes from Sylvia Kaptein, Bernina blog, and is called Crazy Colors Mystery Quilt. 2015 startade en ”Sticka tillsammans” sida på bloggen Hildurs barnbarn. Varje månad stickade man en disktrasa! Jag fick tips om sidan förra året och bestämde mig för att sticka dessa disktrasor. Har nu äntligen stickat klart alla tolv, en riktig färgklick och frågan är nu: Ska jag verkligen använda dem som disktrasor????? 🙂
In 2015 started a ”Knit-along” at the blog Hildurs barnbarn (Swedish blog: Hildurs´ grandchildren). Every month you´d get the pattern for a dishcloth! Someone told me last year about the blog and I decided to knit these dishcloths. Now I have finally finished all twelve, a great splash of colors and the question now is: Should I really use them as dishcloths????? 🙂

The dishcloths are fabulous! I’d use them if I’d made them. You have one for every day of the week, plus spares for special purposes like cleaning glass or the bathroom. And they’d make a really good gift, too, perfect for someone who doesn’t like to throw things out so much.

Thank you! The thing is, I really can´t see them as dishcloths. They are more like knitted squares that can been used together. For what I don´t knw 🙂

Love those dishcloths! I’ve got some 100% cotton left over from gifts that I plan to use for me! I know people that will only use these, because they absorb so much better than store bought.
