Just det!
That´s right! Today it´s time for Scrap Happy Day once more! Kate from Australia and I, Gun from Sweden, decided rather long ago that the 15th every month is Scrap Happy Day! A day when we show you all how we uses our scraps. Since we also know that there are many quilters out in the blogworld that uses scraps like us when sewing, we decided to link to your blogs as well! So if you want your blog on the list, just tell me in the comments!
In May I showed a lot of scrappy blocks I had sewn and didn´t know how to continue with them. Some of the blocks I called ”Almost Log Cabin”. I think they look like a version of Log cabin, but not quite 🙂
I pieced the blocks together with strings in different colors. Not row by row, but in all directions. Although the blocks themselves are all in the same direction. Then I added two borders, one plain white and one with 2″ squares. Now the top is done!!!

I LOVE your quilt top! All the squares look like little rooms, or windows showing scenes. I could almost imagine some tiny people walking around in there! You clever, clever thing! ❤
GillaGilla

Fabulous! Looks like you and Kate are thinking in the same track these days. A favorite track for me, too!

Brilliant Scrap Quilt. Like the way you have joined a couple of blocks together with different coloured (mostly) solid strips. The white inner border beautifully frames all the colourful blocks.
GillaGilla
Thank you! I wanted more color in the quilt and I wanted it to get bigger!

It looks wonderful Gun! Well done!
